PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN TEKNIK PEMODELAN TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA MAHASISWA PRODI BAHASA INDONESIA STKIP PGRI SUMBAR
Abstract
The problem in this study is that students in speaking skills are still often found by students not able to speak well. By being told by students to speak in public it is still halting and not smooth. This proves that the student does not have speaking skills. Then based on the evaluation of speech learning held it was concluded that students had not mastered how to speak well, the accuracy of speech, and fluency when speaking. This research method is a modeling technique. The subjects of this research trial were first semester students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program STKIP PGRI West Sumatra who took the Speaking course. The instruments in this study were tests. Various data obtained are analyzed quantitatively. From the results of data analysis, the results of speaking skills were obtained without using modeling techniques with an average value of 74 which was more than sufficient (LDC). Skills results using modeling techniques with an average value of 77.5 that are of good quality (B). Significant influence using modeling techniques on the speaking skills of Indonesian study program students STKIP PGRI Sumbar because of t count> t table (4.07> 1.67).
